Sending Whatsapp and Email Reminders to Assessment Candidates

Problem Statement: Based on our analysis, on an average only 60% of the intended audience actually goes on to attempt the assessments. The reason for non-attempt can be as follows:

  • The invited candidate may not be interested/available for the assessment.
  • The invited candidate missed the initial communication.
  • The invited candidate forgot about the invite due to time lag between the invite time and the assessment start time.

Solution Implemented: The reminder system module we are introducing would allow you to send upto 2 Email communications and 1 Whatsapp communications free of cost. By reaching out on both these mediums would positively impact the attempt ratio leading to an increase in the validated pool of candidates.

How to Send Reminders?

Step 1: Login to your DoSelect Dashboard.

Step 2: Click on the Tests Tab.

Step 3: Navigate to the assessment for which you want to trigger reminders.

Step 4: Go to the Candidates tab.

Step 5: Apply filters to list  the candidates for which you want to send reminders (reminders can only be triggered for candidates in Accepted and Pending status).

Step 6: Select them using the Select All button and click on Send Reminders.

Step 7: Select the Type of reminders you want to send (Whatsapp or Email).

Step 8: Configure the template (in case of Emails). In case of Whatsapp, the template will be read-only.

Step 9: Send the reminders using the "Send Reminder" button.

Step 10: Post sending, you will be able to see how many Emails/Whatsapp communications have been triggered for each candidates in the participant tab.
